My first solo release in 2 years is now available for download/limited edition cassette on Illuminated Paths.
The six tracks were recorded over the past few years, and represent what I’m doing now and where I want to go.
Ren Walters, Clinton Green & Michael McNab “At the Salt Museum” CD/online (Shame File Music, 2017) In December 2015, we camped at Murray Sunset National Park in northern Victoria, Australia. During our time there, we sounded various sites and performed ritualistic actions. This album documents our sounding of the rusted salt harvesting machinery we discovered at the outdoor ‘salt museum’ on the shore of the Lake Crosbie saltpan.
You can listen to two tracks from the album free below. The full 5 track album comes with purchased downloads.
A limited edition of 100 CDs in a 4-panel digipak will be available next month. Pre-order your copy here for the special price of $10 + postage (offer ends 9 February 2017).

My previously-unreleased track “Vinyl Cut-Ups” is on the recently-released Cluster compilation CD, issued by Cluster Magazine. You can order for $5 from here.
My 2011 ‘RPMs 2’ cassette was released in 2011 by Altered States. Now sold out, it’s been reissued online for free streaming/download by Shame File Music. This is the second in a series of albums I released on various labels from 2010 to 2012 documenting the RPMs series of compositions for turntables (see Discography for details).
This newly-released track was constructed with field recordings made in Malaysia in 2011. Stream or download the track and the compilation album for free.
This 2010 cassette, shared with Screwtape, features the very first iteration of my “RPMs” series of compositions for turntables that occupied me for a few years. The limited edition of 50 cassettes are all gone, but it’s free here online. RPMs 2 cassette, also sold out, coming online soon, too.
Perhaps my first dedicated turntable release, limited edition of 50 copies – 7″ vinyl in handmade covers, released on Revolution Records in 2009, sold out long ago, now reissued online. The download also includes a selection of images of the handmade sleeves.
