Producer’s Guild electronic music workshop

THE PRODUCERS GUILD is an accessible meetup for neurodivergent and disabled electronic music producers to meet, share ideas, make music and explore new approaches to sound.

This month, we’re joined by experimental musician and performer CLINTON GREEN for a workshop and performance exploring musique concrète, found sound, and making music with hacked and broken audio equipment.

Clinton has been active in Australian experimental music since the 1990s, working with unconventional instruments including malfunctioning turntables, Walkmans, dictaphones, guitars and found objects. His practice is about finding the hidden musical possibilities in everyday objects and machines, and using them in new and unexpected ways.

Come along to meet other producers, experiment with sound, see Clinton perform and have a go at some unusual approaches to music-making. No experience with experimental music or musique concrète required.

We’ll also be ordering pizza — bring an extra $5 if you’d like some!
